Karawo embroidery processes are carried out without using machine technology. This research aims to optimize the lighting of Gorontalo karawo fabric production house. The method used is by surveying, conducting direct measurements, and distributing questionnaires. A simulation Dialux Evo 9.0 in existing conditions after addition lights. Simulation measurement shows an average value 461.3 lux from 07.00 17.00. result does not meet SNI 16-7062-2004 for fine work, which a minimum 1000-2000 lux. Based on measurements field, it was found that level only ranged 22.19 30.78 According craftsmen, 33% had headaches eye pain during process, pain. Moreover, based with light on, intensity 1107.4 reached specified standard.
